I have seen this movie like couple of times before .. but i saw it the other nite .. and boy the effect it had on me!!! I was mezmerized .. i was wellin up man !! I dunno it struck me hard .. it was getting too emotional fer me .. its definately owth consuming .. not just once but surely a couple of times more than tat !!!

Well i read it first in 2001 .. but then i was a whole different person then besides i dun even remember a wee bit about the ne of the stoires .. i wanna see the book with the new me .. with my my perpective about things .. also i wanna buy the namesake .. so im kinda reading this n deciding if i like her writing ..

Hmmmm .. well i sorta have mixed reactions about this one !! At times it seems like a major take off from a bollywood movie .. all those clichés !!! But then the story is surely engrossing .. The characters so aloof but then relatable at the same time .. And yes the depiction of the battered Afghanistan in the second half is heart wrencing !! Not an amazing read , but then it was kinda kwel !! Duntcha think ???

WOW is the word .. i never thought it would take a non indian , who was once a man on the run , a crackhead , a mafia member … to make me realize how beutiful and unique our culture is !!! How we just take the things that are our own for granted and dont value them enough .. Love it .. Cant wait for the movie to come out ..
