A story about "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I loved this book! Despite it being a real teen book I just couldn’t put it down. It made me both laugh and cry. I watched the movie immediately after finishing it and thought they complemented each other very well. Makes you wanna be 16 again :-)

A story about "Desperation" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

At first I really liked the book and thought it was a real pageturner, but towards the end it got way too weird for me and I had a really hard time finishing it. All in all an okay book, but not his greatest.

A review of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I loved this book! It is an amazing book and can be enjoyed by both children and adults. It is so well written that you keep imagining Charlie and feel like you’re part of his adventure. Read it!

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I didn’t like this book. It is very strange and I had a really hard time finishing it. The ending is somewhat surprising, but the book still seems like a waste of time. I agree with the previous review saying that this must be a guys book and that might be why I didn’t get it :-)

A story about "Mr. Maybe: A Novel" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

The book is about a girl that is involved with two very different guys and how she handles these two relationships.

I really liked this book. It is a very easy read and it’s hard to put down the book. Even though it is pretty predictable, I still enjoyed every part of it.

A story about "Anybody Out There?: A Novel" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I really liked this book! The author has an incredible ability to make you care about the characters in her books. You want to know more about them, which, in my opinion, makes a good book. I think the books about the Walsh family are some of the best chick-lit ever!

A story about "The Lovely Bones" — 3 years ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

It’s an okay book but no more than that. The book was easy to read but I thought it was pretty boring at times. It still has some interesting points though. I believe the movie will turn out to be better than the book.

A review of "Slow Man" — 3 years ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

The book is about a man that get his leg removed after an accident. You get to see how this affects his life and the way he sees life. I didn’t like the book that much, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone since a lot of other books are much better. That being said it still got to me at some point. I think we all need an Elizabeth Costello in our lives to shake things up a bit. The character manages to make me appreciate life a little bit more.

A review of "The Neon Rain" — 3 years ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

The book is the first in a series with lieutenant David Robicheaux. It’s the only one of them I have read and I must say that I’m not that big a fan. The main character is a sort of anti-hero, but his dark sides are too exaggerated if you ask me. And because of this I don’t feel any sympathy for the character and really don’t care about his problems. But if you are able to look passed this I believe it could be an okay book.

A story about "Saturday" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I really didn’t like the book at first, but about halfway in it started growing on me. The author somehow manages to balance the psychological and the psysiological sides of the human brain when he describes what the main character goes through on a Saturday. It’s a book that’s hard to forget.
