So pretty it's boring — 3 years ago
Although the visuals and the soundtrack are beautiful, it felt so contrived that I couldn’t relate to the characters.

The affordable way to film in NY!
Aren’t we sucka’s for reunion scenes?
warm fuzzies!
I’m constantly suprised at how new concepts such as nano-technology seem to be readily accepted and developed upon in anime.
Does Jim Caviezel know he has a son?
Not having cable, I have not seen much of Fox News or any of the ‘O’Reilly Factor’ besides paradies on SNL. Besides what I get from Moore’s movies, and Jon Stewart, I’m ignorant of how the media works today. It takes time to learn about our environment, not to mention the complexities of modern media. How do we balance trying to pay our rent and filtering the enormous amount of information out there, in order to make intelligent decisions? I assume, that makes me the kind of audience that Fox or any other network wants.
Are Fox which has the Family Guy and the Simpsons, and Fox News connected?
Don’t see this theatrical type of acting around anymore; as pointed out in the extras, today it’s more ‘natural’ . Klaus gives a commanding performance(a phrase I heard somewhere). Interesting POV on the relationship of politics to art.
It’s a unique biography in that Mark Wexler, the son, is trying to make a biography about his father, who is a legendary cinematographer, who wants to control how his son makes the movie. The extras are worth watching. Haskell’s reaction to the movie is touching.
Chick flick but it had its moments (and having a girlfriend gives me an excuse to watch them).
oh feel the magic, you naughty little minx, my wife will be home any minute.
I felt little sympathy for the characters too, because of their self-absorption. Hyper-focusing on our problems blinds us to the problems of others, and it is connection that gives us consolation. I thought that was the point of the movie. Obsession with fixing ourselves reminds me of our 43Things lists.
