I wanted to like this book after seeing Yvon speak. It simply goes into too much detail on clothing production than I thought it would. First third of the book on how he started Patagonia (and the climbing hardware company before that) is a good read though.
fun commentary (tho rivers is absent through it all), great rare early footage. favorite part include an early incarnation of the band playing “my name is jonas” circa 92 or 93 to a crowd of party people out on a field / dirt lot. rivers still had long hair from his metal days. their music was apparently unknown at the time, but it was already gettin’ damn good.
