I liked it more than Romeo and Juliet (the only other Shakespeare work I’ve read); it had a lot more action and substance. The ending was the same though (all the main characters die).

Thrilling, interesting novel. Kind of read like an action movie, which I why I liked it.

Just like Sayuri in the movie, the main character beautifully personifies nature. The jokes and allusions in the book, although sparse, are relatively humorous. An all around good read; long, detailed, and interesting.

A very short, rather inspirational view of how heaven is first presented to a person. Illustrated the terribleness of war extremely well.

I just couldn’t put it down. Definitely the “darkest” of the series, so far; the ending was very depressing. I’m convinced to find out what will happen to Harry in the last book…
