Engaging and very surprising – I liked it a lot more than I thought I would.
Though I did feel like at times this read like a really long magazine article, ultimately it was compelling and I’d recommend it if you think it would be interesting to you.
I always suspected that Karen Armstrong’s Books would be too dense and abstract for me, but if they’re half as thoughtful and engaging as this was, I’ve been missing out.
I like this one a lot – I’ve read these mysteries out of order in the series and still find them entertaining.
This is my favorite book about writing, period.
Good advice wrapped in hippie love – may be a little too much brown rice and tofu for me.
