Not to get all Lester Bangs on you, but I have 3 versions of this. One on vinyl and both the re-remastered and the original remastered CD version. I can’t say right now which is my favorite, but I am inspired to re-compare all-o-dem.
It’s a supergroup! Duff McKagan (GnR, Velvet Revolver), Matt Sorum (Cult, GnR, Velvet Revolver), Steve Jones (Sex Pistols), John Taylor (Duran Duran). Aren’t you just the least bit curious? Oh yea, it’s produced by Jerry Harrison (Modern Lovers, Talking Heads). It pretty well rocks.
Wow, I haven’t thought about this book in years. I got it when I was about 1 year old and it was just sort of a staple during those super young years. Mabye that’s where part of my yearning for the ocean and the city came from. This blasted, beloved book!
I don’t intend to finish consuming this anytime soon, but we’ve only got 3 choices here on all consuming, so whatcha gonna do? REMEMBER…
So I bought the censored cover. It’s still cool. Gimmie a break. One of the greatest bands live. Both times I saw them I left a true believer.
Oh man, now here’s a blast from the past. I dug this kid when I was a kid. I even had like a stuffed version of this little cowboy dude. Hadn’t thought about that in a long while.
Plan 9 has soul man. Robot monster was actually painful to watch. The kitch value lasted but a short time and I was left wondering just how stupid and in need of entertainment did the creators feel their audience was?
