A story about "Arrogant Bastard Ale" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is the first beer that I’ve bought legally in the United States since turning 21. Bought on Pacific Coast Highway 101 from some beachy looking liquor store. Amusement.

Great beer. Much better than the last time I had it. Interesting sweetness for such a dark ale.

A story about "Murphy's Stout" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Found this one at Trader Joe’s. Imported from Ireland. Murphy’s Pub draught Stout. Comes in these great cans with the same little “draughtflow” plastic piece inside them that the Guiness Draught has. Wonderful, creamy head. Great beer.

A story about "James Squire Original Amber Ale" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Surprisingly deep flavor for an amber ale. I really liked this one and was actually able to finish a whole drink in one sitting.

A story about "Herland" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This book was worth consuming because I rarely find books that aren’t. That said, I found the constant focus on Motherhood and Mothering (with capital letters) to be disappointing. Is that really what a feminist utopia would be? Is that all is could be? It was a big let down, at least for me; I was forced to constantly keep in mind that the book was written sometime around 1915.

WORTH CONSUMING!

What can I say? I’m a sucker for this series… still, though, JP III was a bad movie. Especially compared to the original JP.
