NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I’m kind of convinced that this movie was written and directed by a person with A.D.D. The direction, writing and acting was mediocre and all over the place. Jack Black was insane as usual, but I expected a lot more from Mos Def. I laughed a few times but I finally just pushed stop and turned the TV off before they could save the store. I’m sure I would have either fallen asleep or been annoyed by the pointless dialogue.

Hmmm…I never thought I would get so tired of hearing the word “fuck.” Michael Cera and Bill Hader make me so happy, I could care less about the rest of the cast. Is it hysterically funny, no. Should you see it anyway, yes!

WORTH CONSUMING!

This movie surprised me. It was pretty damn funny! Most of the moments weren’t ruined by the stupid previews. Jason Segal is pretty damn awesome! The cast was great as well.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Man, this movie was surprisingly pretty great. It’s “based on a true story about a philandering husband, Joey, whose long-suffering wife, Rosalie, finally uncovers his lies. She decides the only way to deal with the situation is to murder him; trouble is, he’s literally difficult to kill, as he dodges one attempt after another.” [Netflix]

Kevin Kline is pretty funny, but the cast also includes William Hurt, Keanu Reeves (who are hilarious as drug addicts hired to kill Joey) and River Phoenix.

Not bad!

This was dangling on the edge of having the potential to be funny. Mostly it was just boring and Diane Keaton is the most annoying actress in the world.
