It’s not a good movie, but I think it manages to be an entertaining one. There are some very funny moments and cool action scenes. Unfortunately, there’s too much convoluted backstory and some terribly obvious plot holes. Some of the effects scenes are fairly well done, others are laughable.

If you watch it with people who enjoy “so bad they’re good” movies then you’ll probably have fun with Dragon Wars. I’m giving this 3 stars partly for how good a time we had making fun of it later.

This movie is hard to explain. It’s a violent sports drama set in a post-apocalyptic world. The main characters are a team who travels from town to town playing a game that involves beating the crap out of each other (sometimes with various weapons).

I thought it was very interesting, especially because it focuses a lot on the story and the characters instead of being a more stereotypical action movie.
