A story about "The Laramie Project" — 3 years ago
It was good. But I don’t think I could watch it more than once or twice. Too straight-foward. No real surprises…

Okay. Bloody isn’t even the right word. I bought this thinking it was about self-mutilation…like cutting. I also thought it would be in english. It’s in french, with english subtitles. Not that what she’s saying is of any importance…
Basically this woman cuts herself on accident, becomes addicted, and becomes cannibalistic. It’s fairly plotless. She goes to work. Comes home and cuts bits of her flesh off and eats it. Sucks the blood.
I don’t recommend it. I’m scared to watch it again. But if that’s your kinda thing…
My absolute favorite movie ever. I could probably play Lisa if they made another version…I can quote the entire movie pretty much.
Watch it!!!
I think I can quote the entire movie.
Yes. Yes I can.
I’ve been told I sound like Dory…though I don’t agree.
‘Hey there Mr. Grumpy Gills…when life gets you down you know what you gotta do? Just keep swimming! Just keep swimming! Just keep swimming, swimming, what do we do? We swim! Hah ha ha ha ha haaaah, we like to swiiiiiim.’
Oh.Yes. BUY IT NOW AND WATCH IT!
A tad slow through the beginning, but the overlapping of stories is great to help you follow. Not too much unnecessary talking, or music, or anything to distract you from the plot. I liked it!! A wonderful Sundance flick to satisfy your movie cravings.
Not original. I feel like I’ve seen this story a few times…like it’s based on an old Japanese horror flick or something…but it wasn’t BAD.
Yeah…I’ve never read Devil’s Arithmetic, but I saw the movie, and this was extremely similar. The anorexic girl ends up “dreaming” herself into this Armenian life. It really makes no sense. I think it was meant for her to appreciate life or something…
I just didn’t like this book. A waste of my money.
It lacked something. I live for psychological books, mainly on eating disorders, and this is one of my least favorites.
The best 900 page book I’ve ever read.
Intense can’t even begin to describe Lamb’s writing in this amazing book.
My grandma’s read it! I had to read it for Child Development 2, and I’ll read it for Psych. in Lit. this year. It’s hard to put down, because Dibs keeps changing…you want to know what’s going to happen next!
