A story about "Love That Dog" — 5 years ago
I’m reading this with my 7 year old daughter. It’s a great book of free verse poetry!

I’m reading this with my 7 year old daughter. It’s a great book of free verse poetry!
I see that others never finished this book, too! Maybe we all have ADHD, lol!
Anyhow, this time around, I’m really getting something out of the parts that I AM reading. More to come in my blog.
Saw this in the humor section of the library. It’s a really easy read.
His daughter went through all of his speeches and culled his jokes, arranging them in this book to tell his life story.
It’s a really neat idea for someone’s autobiography. Bob had a great talent for poking fun at himself.
I read this about 14 years ago, and I would like to read it again.
Help for overcoming the negativity.
I’m mainly reading this book to find out about the future Saturday Night Live alums. I plan to enjoy the comedy CDs thoroughly.
Sure, I watch the late night talk shows. I know from watching Dave, that his experience at NBC didn’t end very well. I chose this book because it provides details about what happened.
The host/producer of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” Jay Mohr, writes a rather biting memoir of his time as a writer/featured performer for Saturday Night Live during ‘93-’95.
I heard about this book during one of Jay’s appearances on “The Tonight Show”, and, after borrowing it from the library, I read it in one single evening.
The show will return in January 2005, and I’ve longed to read this primer, which describes the history of the show.
This book is a quick read, only about 150 pages. It describes the story of a brother and sister who run away from home, spend the night at the Metropolitan Museum of New York, and help solve a mystery.
It was written for a much older time (the premise of the book and prices for transportation and food, for example), but it was good nevertheless to read again a story I’d read years before.
