A question I have about "Beets" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Are beets pickled? I assume so but I’ve never seen beets pre-pickled so I figured I’d ask.

I love beets when they’re cold, sliced thin with olive oild and vinegar, a dash of salt and maybe some lemon juice.

How "Drunken Chicken Sandwich" changed my life — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This sandwich made me realize that Seattle has two of my all time favorite sandwiches and therefore I can continue to live here. First there was Paseo’s marinated pork sandwich in Fremont. Then came Baguette Box’s drunken chicken sandwich. Any other suggestions for best sandwiches in the world?

A review of "The Dreamers (Original Uncut NC-17 Version)" — 4 years ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I couldn’t finish this film. It’s not offensive. It is self indulgent and the actor who plays the American delivers a pathetic performance.

Why I gave up consuming "Diet Coke" — 4 years ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I started drinking Diet Coke about 4 years ago—mostly to stay awake. I’m a sleeper.

I stopped drinking DC (and caffeine in general) for 6 months. It was great, but I always manage to find my way back to the well. And I really do enjoy the wonderful bubbles and fake sweet taste. It’s addictive.

Why I recommend "Baguette Box's tofu sandwich" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Unless you’re a veggie, It’s not the obvious pick on the Baguette Box menu. I always opted for the drunken chicken sandwich. However, the tofu sandwich is a hidden gem. I may actually prefer it. Somewhere between the deep fried tofu, seasoned mayo, special suace and pickled vegetables lies the cluinary magic. Oh – and it’s $3.75.

A story about "Wedding Crashers" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I thought I wouldn’t like this movie. It was funny. Very funny at times. Raunchy for sure—and a bit dark at times. But I went with a friend who appreciated it and the crowd was into it. Don’t take kids to this film. It was a guilty pleasure.

A story about "Scratch Track" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I’ve been playing shows with Scratch Track while on tour. Scratch Track is a trio—2 singers/rappers/beatbox boyz and 1 acoustic guitarist. Pretty sick stuff. See them live if you get a chance.

A story about "Star Wars - Episode III, Revenge of the Sith" — 4 years ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Went with some fellas from the band while on tour in Phoenix, AZ. I felt abused after this flick - too much visual noise for me. I’m still a fan of Empire Strikes Back - but there was a lot more meet on them bones.
