A story about "Forever: A Novel of Good and Evil, Love and Hope" — 1 year ago

The heroine in this story speaks and behaves sort of bizarrely, I kept wondering if she had a major head injury, as the story progressed her behavior started to make sense, but all in all I thought she was overly annoying.

A story about "Small Favor: A Novel of the Dresden Files" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This series is totally addicting. Great action sequences.

A story about "Murder of a Chocolate-Covered Cherry (Scumble River Mysteries, Book 10)" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Denise Swanson gives her series about Skye Denison, a school psychologist in the small town of Scumble River some new life by sort of morphing this book into a culinary mystery with recipes instead of a plain traditional mystery. As usual a well-crafted plot.

A story about "Fangs for the Memories (Paranormal Romance)" — 1 year ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Take a bad amnesiac romance plot line and add vampires, what you get is a very hard to swallow novel.

A story about "Killer Mousse (Della Cooks Mystery)" — 1 year ago

I’m a huge fan of culinary mysteries and to me it didn’t seem like the main character in this book was that knowledgeable about cooking, kind of sounded like she was regurgitating the food network.

A story about "The Remains of the Dead: A Ghost Dusters Mystery" — 1 year ago

Sadie runs Scene 2 Clean, a company that specializes in sanitizing crime scenes. She also talks to ghosts. While I thought the concept was interesting the book itself was pretty boring. A lot of cleaning crime scenes and that just isn’t that interesting so much as it’s gross.

A story about "Beg for Mercy (Mercy Hollings, Book 1)" — 1 year ago

The main character in this book reminded me a lot of the guy called pusher in an episode of x-files. Mercy can press thoughts into peoples’ minds and make them obey her commands. Interesting premise.

A story about "Plum Lucky (Stephanie Plum Novels)" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

short, ridiculous, but insanely funny

A story about "The Kitchen Witch (Berkley Sensation)" — 1 year ago

Not a lot of witchcraft in this book for it being a berkley sensation, I felt like it was more of a contemporary romance than a paranormal.
