NOT WORTH CONSUMING

This book came to me highly recommended, but I could hardly make it through it. It wasn’t like it was a bad book, not bad enough to put down, but it was light on action or exposition. I found it very dry.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I have to admit that although Tamar Myer’s books are quite silly, I have enjoyed several of them. However, the more I read in this series the more bored I become with it. It just doesn’t seem like she is offering anything fresh for her readers. Still the last novel had laughs along with the recycled bits.

A story about "Ubuntu - Linux for Human Beings" — 4 years ago

The ease of use of this free distro is good. It isn’t quite as snappy as I would like and I had some problems configuring my modem, but most people who have DSL service wouldn’t have any problems and my computer just isn’t that snappy anyways. Anyone thinking of switching ot Linux, should give this one a try.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Swanson’s books read like they could happen in any small town in America. Here characters are cute.

A story about "Robots (Full Screen Edition)" — 4 years ago

For all the good reviews I read and the quality actors providing the voices, I didn’t think that Robots was that great of an animated film. The animation was good, but I didn’t find the story engaging enough. In fact, I thought it was boring.

www.nanowrimo.org is a great place to meet other writers and get feedback on plot ideas.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Thought this movie was funny. Loved Jason Lee voicing the villian.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Normally, I really like Valerie Wolzien novels. In fact of all cozy mysteries writers, she is one of my favorites. I normally find Susan Henshaw’s life appealing and savvy, but this book was terribly dull. It wasn’t a bad mystery, just boring.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I wanted to see this movie when it was in theatres and then I sort of forgot about it. I got it on Peerflix yesterday and loved it. I thought it was original and funny.

A story about "www.paperbackswap.com" — 4 years ago

www.paperbackswap.com is a great place to swap books with other club members for free. (By free I mean the club doesn’t currently charge a membership fee or a fee per trade. You are still required to pay postage to earn credits.) I have found many out of print books that I couldn’t find anywhere else and all for the price of postage. If you love books and reading, this is the website for you.
