Only an English prof could ruin this book…and she has. So promising, too…
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha…etc. Actually, I didn’t finish the last few chapters. I think I got bored of being amused.
I keep getting the feeling I’ve already read this book…which maybe I have. Otherwise, it’s hilarious and great.
Two vaguely interconnected stories: one in 1869 Japan and the other in France during the Franco-Prussian War. Aside from the extremely annoying and pretentious lack of any quotation marks, a good one.
Meh. A fairly interesting book with an enormous bibliography, but I got pretty annoyed by this male author’s know-it-all attitude towards women’s orgasms.
Nothing too original in this one, but still a great horror-ish story with ghosties and dead girls. Yay!
