This is one of my favorite books. ‘Tis is really just the second half of Angela’s Ashes, as it was apparently too long to release just as one book. I actually enjoyed ‘Tis more. It’s really a sad story, but the way he writes about his life makes it funny and entertaining.

Jesus I Never Knew, The

I picked this book up at my parents’ house and started reading it. It was ok. Parts of it were really good and really made me think, but most of the book was fluff. It kind of makes me think of Wild at Heart in that Jesus was not just a “nice” guy, but was actually more akin to an against the establishment revolutionary.

I’m about half-way through this book now. After 9/11, I felt that the events of that day were something that probably could not have been foreseen or prevented. As I have read through this book, I feel even stronger about that, although there did appear to be security holes that should have been plugged prior to 9/11 that would have helped. My Life

by Bill Clinton

I am 3/4 of the way through this book. It is kind of cheesy. After many of the stories he tells, he then will say he learned some corny lesson from the experience. Clinton is a relatively young man with a lot of his life yet to live. This even comes across in the book in a way. Most autobiographies obviously come towards the end of one’s life when that person probably just wants to get out the truth of everything that happend in his/her life. Clinton comes across as trying to use the book to help with his image and the image of his wife, for good reason since she may be making a presidential run in four years.
