This book made me want to be young in the 1920’s, yes, I know it is a upper class idealized life, civil rights/women’s rights/prohibition/war/nationalism and all that but I want to take an oceanliner to Europe, stay in funky hotels, meet interesting people who will buy me drinks and just wander around with no agenda, Lonely Planet or budget.
