the plot is a bit far fetched but Hill is a great story teller.

funny, quick read, it was alright
DR:
I enjoyed reading this book. A true celebration of the night. Alas, it was time to return it to the library. I will borrow the book again and I would love to read it on a camping trip. Through the wall of a tent, the night is so close.
DR: good escapist fantasy. Patricia A. McKillip’s tales always satisfy.
DR:I’ve read most of the Dalziel and Pascoe series and this one continues the fine tradition. I quite like Hill’s use of language and how he has developed the characters over the course of the series. I did find this books tipped towards ‘over the top’ – not just a good who done it – this had kinky sex, drugs, spies, international intrigue, arms trade, etc. Stretching credibiltiy but still a good read.
