What a hoot! Started watching it thinking it was going to be a dud, but it turned out to be a really fun movie.

good story but be prepared for a lot of swearing

After reading lots of positive reviews I think my expectation were a bit too high. It is an okay story, but it moves along really, really, slowly. I was fine with believing in dragons, but a librarian at a prestigious university library who would be willing to look after the children of a visiting scholar? Now, that’s really fantasy!

Light, fluffy and entertaining. If you’re feeling stressed and overworked this is the book to read before bed. A bit of a cop-out ending though

light, fluffy, trashy, lesbian mystery. Good for a rainy day or when you’re home with the flu.

Not as good as Hoot but still a good story for children. I like the irreverancy for authority but the respect for nature in Hiaasen’s work. I hope he writes some more adult fiction soon.
