3 months smoke free as of sunday! i started out on nicorette 4mg (even though i was only a half pack a day smoker) because i was determined to have no excuses to pick it back up again. after a month i switched to an off brand (publix) 2mg and have been on that ever since.

i have to say the publix brand (distributed by the same company as nicorette) is just as good as nicorette. they just stripped most of the sugar coating off so it’s not quite as tasty, but at half the price it’s worth it. it’s more incintive to work on the switch to regular gum anyway :)

i recommend nicotine gum as a great temporary friend to those who are trying to quit
