This Holt chap is a bit of a smart arse. IMHO.

Superb SF twist to the classical greek Iliad. Recommended
bloody marvellous. and that’s from a brit that doesn’t even know half the protagonists…
100 pages of cyberpunk noise, before i could make hear or tail of it. and after that, once the simple story got underway, i didn’t think it was worth the effort. a shame.
this was recommended by iain banks, an author i really enjoy and respect. my guess is that he and ken are drinking buddies… that can be the only explaination.
an interesting story, and well worth reading, but i’m not a fan of Mr Brown’s writing style (although it’s obviously served him well so far).
The overused cliffhanger ending at the end of every chapter just left me wondering what device or construct he would use to extricate his characters from it each time. But this is a minor gripe – enjoyable fun.
A modern classic. A great, original story, beautifully told. Highly recommended.
A good old cyberpunk yarn. Hooks you from the off and keeps up the breakneck pace nicely. Recommended.
Excellent pair of novellas; filling in a lot of Revelation Space details re: Shrike and Juggler Worlds.
Marvellous. Just Marvellous. Well researched and beautifully illustrated. Much recommended.
