Picked right out of the ocean when I was on a hike on the South Island of New Zealand! Outstanding!

If you liked this movie, see ‘Heart of Darkness’. It’s the behind the scenes of the making of Apocalypse Now. Coppola’s wife shot it in Super 8(?). Very facinating!

I saw it again on DVD and can’t get over the COLOURS! Absolutely beautiful! One of my all time favorites!

This was a movie I’ve wanted to see for a long time. Not a feel good movie. Makes you feel for soldiers that have to see and do terrible things. There’s nothing glamorous about war.

My wife hated me the last time I read this book. She’d be trying to sleep and I’d be laughing out loud and re-reading absolutely hilarious parts of the text. I guess it’s funnier if you’re reading. I loved this book so much I gave it to my brother for his birthday and he absolutely hated it and never did finish it! Oh well, his loss.
