It was just like quicksilver; if you liked that, you’ll like this installment too. I can’t wait for the final volume! It hints about Enoch Root twice (well, really it hints about him once and then jokes about it later). (4/23/04)

An excellent book. Although , having read it for the first time, I was drawn mainly to its suspense, I feel that the author’s psychological insight into her characters is great enough to entertain me in subsequent readings.
