A story about "Marie Antoinette" — 2 years ago
garbage. i didn’t expect too much going into it, just to be entertained. but between the ridiculous dialogue most likely aimed at middle school girls (“I love these shoes! Can you believe she’s wearing that!?”) and the cinematics that look as if the director of Calvin Klein Eternity ads took the helm, the film became tiresome quickly.
I feel that this film took what are some interesting historical characters and didn’t do them justice. The film could have been much better if it focused on the eccentricities of the characters more instead of pairing horrible music with herpes medicine commercial camera shots.
props for using a cure song though. and the costumes were cool, even if that’s about all the movie amounted to.
