not really a fan of mel gibson…but i was forced to watch this before i was allowed to watch rosencrantz and guildenstern are dead (I’ve never read hamlet gasp!) lol

he wasn’t half bad in this movie. helena bonham carter was great, i really enjoy her.

sigh i love miyazaki!

this had a bit of a slow intro for me, but this film really underlines how i think miyazaki just gets children and childhood.

indomitably cute and yes, a little bizarre (cat bus, anyone?)

i’m cursing the computer for not ripping this ISO correctly, must have a copy!

we’ve been claiming to be totoro’s since we watched it.

easily one of my all time favorite albums. period.

beautifully constructed from start to finish, wonderful build. by the time i get to the ‘safety zone’ the last song on the album, i literally feel as if i’ve gone on some journey or something.

one of the few albums i listen to start to finish quite often versus skipping around.

if you dig it, check out shpongle and hallucinogen (simon’s other projects).

must for electroheads, especially those of the psy trance, psy goa crowd.

how is no one else playing this game right now?

i’ve seen this movie before (kind of, playing in background of party), but after reading a little neitzsche, i really enjoyed this more the second time around.

interesting exposition of the ‘superman theory’ and the will to power.

immediately one of my favorite movies. visually stunning with some of the most masterful story exposition i have seen in a while (i didn’t want to say ‘storytelling’ ;).

why did i somehow feel the ending was a bit hollow? i remember playing Ocarina of Time and being blown away…am i just getting older?

don’t get me wrong, tons of fun. i love zelda(s). maybe i’ve just played enough for it to feel formulaic after a bit?

i’m totally going to buy the next one though, rofl!

i guess i can’t really call it puppy love at this point…but it sure still makes my stomach flip and giggle like i’m 13.

even in a simplified form, this was still a little over my head in some areas. i love this series though!
