Somewhat tedious. I was expecting it to be far more of the story of Iranian women, rather than a series of dissertations on various authors.

What a wonderful book. I strongly suspect it’s going to end sadly, but I’ll remain happy I read it. Gorgeous writing!
A story about "The Princes of Ireland: The Dublin Saga" — 4 years ago
I’m about 150 pages into this, and am enjoying it so much. It’s a good historical look at Ireland, starting around 430 A.D. I’m learning very interesting things about the development of the current religious situation, about the settlement of Ireland, etc., but it’s all packaged nicely in fiction form with very interesting characters. I definitely recommend it!

This is really enjoyable chick-lit. Shows a little more depth and maturity than many of the typical chick-lit authors (with exceptions, including Jennifer Weiner and Jane Green). I recommend it!

Not very far into this yet, but I enjoyed “The Princes of Ireland” so much that I’m sure this one will be well worth reading too.
