I can’t believe it’s over. I probably spent the last 60 pages of this book in tears. I was sad because of some of the things that happened, but more sad because it was finally the end of the quest.
As King notes in his afterword, the ending will make many readers angry. I can’t say it ended the way I wanted it to, but I can say that I’m satisfied with the ending. And how many sagas of seven books end satisfactorily? Not many.
Very well done, Mr. King, and thank you for sharing it with us.
Another quiet and sweet Mma. Ramotswe book.
I picked this up because it takes place in Idaho. (The part with the potatoes, as will be come apparent early on in the book.) It was a pretty enjoyable read.
A little draggy so far, but it’s early yet to judge for sure.

Very good! Her writing style is very easy to read—I almost want to call it “comfortable.” I really enjoyed reading this one and recommend it highly.
About an English doctor who is suddenly an heiress to a patient who dies in suspicious circumstances.
I thought I’d hate this because it was an Oprah’s BC selection, and as a rule I’ve really disliked the other books she’s picked.
This one…not so bad. I’m still not quite sure what the point is, but it’s readable.
James Patterson books are like cotton candy to me. Delicious and enjoyable, and yet you’re left feeling like you didn’t get any substance out of it. This one is much the same.
