Well, I used to have this really pretty voice, I don’t anymore.
Walking up stairs has gotten a little more tiring.
I don’t know what to do with myself anymore.
And withrawl is not fun…

But that was “contempt prior to investigation”.

After listening to this album, I find it really hard to say I don’t like Joni Mitchell, ‘cause this is BEAUTIFUL. MY favorite on it is “Green” but I also love “River”, “Case of you”, “Last Time I saw Richard”, “Carey”, “California” and… Pretty much all of ‘em… The only track I’m not crazy about is “Blue”.

I reccomend it.

And that’s exactly what it is!

But with the cast, I think, there’s a lotta heart. The cameos are cute (I cannot argue with ANYTHING Henry Rollins… drool).

I won’t say it’s unpredictable, I won’t say it’s terribly innovative, but I totally loved it! A LOT.

I dunno, the movie was reeeally good, and the music was used in such a powerful way and I think the music just really is good. Not a song on it I don’t like personally.

I reccomend it whether you’ve seen the movie or not.

There is something so haunting and… Kinda freaky but lovely about her voice and the songs are good.

My personal favorite is Little Bird, ”...Heroes and villains and old lovers walk bythey tip their hats but they never answer why. Why does it always seem to bring me back to this, searching for home in someone else’s gentle kiss, searching for home in places home just don’t exist…”

I dunno, the album as a whole and each song individually, it’s just really great!!! I listen to it a LOT.

I mean, really, no matter what I probably would’ve had complaints…

But it really is pretty good. I don’t like the chronological changes ‘cause it leaves me a little confused, and there’s a lot left out…

BUT, if I choose to watch it without comparing, it’s really beautiful… The Life Support moments and One Song Glory… Those really get me.

I’d reccomend it.

Which makes me kind of freaked out, but really, after having read the book, I wasn’t expecting to be BLOWN AWAY by it (in fact, I was expecting not to be), but I really do think it was sweet, visually is was cute and.. I thought the end was really kinda beautiful.
