What can I say?? “The Office” is the best!
:-)
I first bought this movie because it had one of my favorite singers in it ~ Jaci Velasquez. I really liked it ~ it was funny. Some parts of it was predictable and silly, but that’s what made it good.
The plot ~ a handsome advertising executive falls in love with three beautiful women in three different cities. All three women arrive in L.A. to surprise him at home ~ and the plot thickens!
A plus is the awesome Latin music in the movie…
:-)
Had some awesome twists and turns to the story that were unexpected ~ Mary Higgins Clark is definitely “the queen of suspense” as she has been so suitably named!
:-)
This was a super book ~ if you love mysteries, you must read it! You’ll be surprised at the ending! I would have never guessed…she kept me in suspense throughout the book.
:-)
Raves for this author ~ Wendy Corsi Staub! She is a wonderful suspense novel writer. I can never guess “who done it”! There were at least seven or eight people who were possibilities ~ I did not know until the very end. It completely took me by surprise!
All of her books are a must-read!
I really enjoyed this book ~ very similar to “The Catcher In the Rye”, but with a modern twist. It was written in the form of letters, leaving the reciever anonymous. Much of the character, Charlie, was also left unknown leaving me to use my imagination which I love. The ending had a surprise, which I totally did not expect, which I also love. It is a book that leaves you thinking, wondering, and asking questions long after you’ve finished.
This book alone has its own reading list within the story ~ you could totally make one from story.
“The Catcher In the Rye” is my all-time favorite book, but this one was pretty awesome, too.

This book takes a deep look into a true story of the most horrendous child abuse case in California history. The man that authored it is also the man who lived through it – Dave Pelzer. He is now an amazing individual who is using his past to help others rather than feel sorry for himself. The things he lived through and the punishments his mother invented for him were so cruel. As I read his story, I could not fathom her mentality or thought processes – how could she come up with these horrid, hellish ideas of torturing him? How could his father be so passive and watch as his son was physically abused to the point of death and starvation? Why was she so mean to her firs-born son, but chose to treat her other younger sons with respect and dignity? It is impossible to understand. I am going to read his next book, “The Lost Boy, which is a sequel to the first book. He said many questions that may rise in your mind as your reading the first book, would be answered in the next one.
I am glad that I have read this book, and would recommend it to anyone having questions about child abuse. It would especially be good for teachers to read, since there were signs that could have been noticed or picked up on regarding Dave earlier on in his abuse cycle.
Great book ~ especially since I only paid a dollar for it! Sometimes those are the best ones ~ books you might would normally look over…
:-) It kept me hanging until the end!
These books keep me laughing! :-)
They’re easy summer reads and absolutely hilarious…
(Need to get the next one in the series now)
Cute book ~ didn’t think I would like it as much as Massie’s book, because she’s my favorite character but I loved it.
Thumbs up!
