Got an absolutely scrum hand massage in Lush, and choose this one to try. It’s nice and moisturising, but the scent is purposefully bland – just smells like cocoa butter. Nice enough, but nothing astonishing.

I could totally eat another one right away, but then I’d also be happy to do so – tasted rather nice!

update: now off the intro offer, I’m not convinced these are still worth it at £2 – just not satisfying enough for that.

Hmm. Glad I saw it, and there was a lot to enjoy, but overall just… meh. Could not have lived up to expectations, I guess, but I found it just a bit messy. Which totally impacted on the tension levels for me – I wasn’t particularly spooked out at all, which just felt wrong.

Sigh.

Wasn’t overly impressed with the orangey-ness. The not-there texture (as in, they are uber-light) will be a pro/con depending on mood!

Has it really been ten years since the last one? Wow. Actually, the nostalgia-feel is kind of strong in the proceedings, come to think of it, and I don’t just mean the time travel element (which could have been made more of, maybe!).

This isn’t the strongest of the trio, but it was still fun and rather sweet. Oddly, I don’t think it was one of Will Smith’s stronger appearances – the film belonged utterly to Josh Brolin’s spot-on take of Tommy Lee Jones!

I won’t say not worth consuming, as it was utterly utterly stupid to the point of being some fun. However, I really wouldn’t recommend this to very many people unless you share my joy of nearly-dreadful yet explosive action/sci-fi flicks.

I love some of the ideas in here, but it’s not the easiest or most fun of reads. The first time the narrator switched for a chapter, I was totally confuzzled, and likewise there’s a bit where the (original) narrator talks about dreaming – and it took me most of a very puzzling chapter to realise it was more ‘reality = nightmare’ o_O

Overall I’m glad I read it, but not quite sure if I’m glad it was so short (<250 pages), or sorry that so many of the concepts were left almost tantalisingly under-explored.

Hmm. Going to give this a few more listens before I pass full judgment, but first impressions are just “not as good as the Firefly OST” – in fact, I’m not convinced I’d be able to tell the two were related!

I’m not a big fan of vanilla as a flavour of yogurt, but this one – from my yogurt maker – was easily the nicest I’ve ever tried: not too sweet, not sickly.
