A story about "Queer as Folk - Series 2 (British TV Series)" — 3 years ago
and there was more and it was good not as good as the first series but still good.
I'm currently reading 23 books, listening to 0 albums, watching 10 movies, eating and drinking 1 food item, and consuming 5 other things.
and there was more and it was good not as good as the first series but still good.
Just soo much better than the American version. Racy, sexier and smarter characters. So hot my TV almost melted.
A really interesting discussioin on the origins of Hollywood.
This made me go and search out a lot of movies I’d never heard of or had never wanted to see until reading about them. It changed my whole perspective on American Cinema, and gives me hope for another period like it where personal stories triumph, at least for a few years, over extreme marketing and commercialism.
A really indepth look at the brit pop phenomenon of the 90s. Many great stories about many great egos.

one of the best things about Cruise of the Gods is its title. it is about a fan cruise for a sci fi show from 20 years ago. failing actor and now doorman, andy van allen (rob brydon), was once the star of the Children of Castor and now is so hard up that he agrees to go on the fan cruise. There are funny moments riddle within it but the attempt of a plot gets in the way. If you are in the right mood it could be quite enjoyable but it is best not expect too much from it, though it is cast with pretty talented british comedians.
This movie has a great cast of comedians. Norm MacDonald, Sarah Silverman and Dave Chappelle and yet nothing manages to pull together to make this movie enjoyable aside from watching the cast and making up a new plot for the movie in your head.
