WORTH CONSUMING!

I knew it was going to be a sexual video but wow! full body nudity both male and female. Full shots of the sexual relations!
Not bad, I was impressed with how well they stuck to the book. They did change the ending a bit, presumably to make it end smoother, quicker and more at ease.
But over all it was well done :D

Ending was disappointing. — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Not a bad book. The relationships were well written and believable. The ending was not what I would’ve expected after that climatic revealing towards the end. But overall it was a good book.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I did a movie review for this one on my channel.

I give it 4.5 stars. It was well done with pretty well balanced hollywood tweeks.

Book is better — 1 year ago

That movie was … well…. not worth the same title.
I mean, while reading the book there were certain sexually explicit parts with the children that you knew they wouldn’t be able to do on screen. But that didn’t mean removing main characters!
For the most part they tried to keep it to the book which was nice I enjoyed that. But then they removed the whole centre of the book and 2 main characters, and Tom’s roll, and Butch Bowers.
So much was removed.
The ending, giving them credit they tried, had nothing to do with pregnant and eggs and killing. And why was Eddie’s hand not broken. Not only that but what happened with Eddie left you having no idea what happened. In comparison to the book it gets 1 star from me, but had I not read the book it’d get 2 stars. Too bad I read the book first eh? :p

WORTH CONSUMING!

This was such an amazing book. Admittedly the beginning drove me near mad with the constant flashback storyline. However it is essential in establishing the past in order for you to truly appreciate the story. By the end of it, once the real story begins, there are points that are so exciting and you don’t realize you’ve been anticipating them for the entire novel.
Well done, don’t know that I could read it twice, I’d probably end up skimming the well instilled past but all in all great read!

Poor Boxer — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I remembered watching the movie when I was younger. All I could remember from it though was a pigs head and the fact that I didn’t particularly like the movie towards the end and that it had something to do with a horse..
I didn’t remember why until (while reading the book) I was reading about Boxer. Although I remembered while reading about Boxer’s character that I was depressed about this character.
Other than that the book was great, the writing was a bit frusterating at first with the excessive use of names but still overall a good book :D.

WOW *tears* — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is the most amazing movie I have seen to this day! They kept it basically right to the book. I am sure there are some things missing but I’d have to be really anal about things to find one thing missing! Not only that but the actors did such a great job at being mean and the actresses pulled at your heartstrings the whole way through! I cried so many times in this movie! Great book, amazing movie!

LONG READ — 2 years ago

What a terribly long read. It took me five weeks to read this book! Every now and then you think you’re getting where they are going and then they flash back and you have no idea what’s going on. If this story was a little better organized it might make more sense. As is it seems like a bunch of short stories. Like someone just took the episodes of M.A.S.H. and called it a novel. No real flow.

Half way through — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

At first I was wondering where they were going with it, but then halfway through it became a story. A story needs one defined problem to overcome and by halfway through the characters were finally developed and the problem became apparent.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I didn’t read it as a child, I read it as an adult and I agree it is a must read.
