WORTH CONSUMING!

What a great series, probably quite forward in it’s time. Always wanted to know the story behind those silly 4 women. Now I do. Hard to end it…waiting for her to return over and over was the best ending ever. No tears but certainly a great ending.

I loved this series! I know it didn’t have longevity but it definitely was a great show while it was on. :)

WORTH CONSUMING!

Great to see how the characters ended up. Although not altogether happy it was real which is what Degrassi always was.

Odd song choice for the bride and grooms first dance but I realize it was chosen as a credit rolling song.

I feel this was much more real of an ending than the ending for “friends” :p

I didn’t realize just how long Claude had been around prior to “showtime” such a great series!

WORTH CONSUMING!

I didn’t realize just how many of these I actually HAD watched when I was younger. I think I only missed two of them. A ground breaking show that could have easily been played in health class to help drive points home in an entertaining way. :)

Only worth consuming if you have the time...which most of us don't. — 3 weeks ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Peter O’Toole did an amazing job acting and the direction was perfect. However, I didn’t come out knowing WHO T.E.Lawrence was, only what he did and in some cases how. As a vision into the past and into the moment and how things happened yes it was an epic film …. an epic film that was far too long. 4 hours? Really? It was like reading Old Man and the Sea all over again. That book could have been 2 pages long and this movie could have been 2 hours long.

The ending (the last 40 minutes) really came together. There were certainly moments throughout the film that popped you back into consciousness but they were lulled by the 5-10 minutes of scenery. The real honest to goodness character development for Lawrence was not until the end and then the very last line that left Lawrence with a blank look was both heartbreaking and true to form. Captured the moment, the “freedom” he had “acquired” after all of that.

Not a bad movie. But…. only if you have time and the attention span. Otherwise get the crib notes.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

A very artsy film so if that’s you type then go for it. There were some great scenes that chill you to the bones (like the boy singing in the nazi uniform) But mostly it doesn’t grab you/me.

WORTH CONSUMING!

It was an okay movie. Great to see the famous quotes in their original use. Definitely can see how it was rated one of the number 1 out of 100 for it’s cultural impact. But it didn’t grab me as much as other movies have. Giving it benefit of doubt based on it’s massive impact on culture and the fact that Harry Met Sally ruined the ending for me ;)

WORTH CONSUMING!

I’m torn with my rating. I wasn’t at the edge of my seat, I wasn’t addicted…however, I already knew the ending thanks to Simpsons. I’m unsure if I’d have had a different reaction had I not already known the ending or if I’d have predicted the ending. I’m not sure and I’ll never know. However, I can agree that for the most part I’m sure Rosebud at one point was the best kept secret of cinema. Psycho would be another one. ;)

It wasn’t a terrible movie and I’ve enjoyed all variations of it I unknowingly watched so I must assume that I’d have enjoyed it more had I not already watched several variations of it. Certainly some great dialogue among the characters and their descriptions of things such as, “He was trying to remove the quotes.” and “Everything was his idea, except for me leaving him” were well written. Great acting as well, especially considering the actors were mostly new to cinema. The blonde pulled off an amazingly annoying bitch for her big scene so bravo there. ;)
