I’ve enjoyed Millman’s Peaceful Warrior books as well as Journey of Socrates, but the transition between Way and Sacred Journey always felt strange. Amazon has some commentary by Millman explaining that Sacred Journey actually takes place during a period that is covered by Way, so reading it as a sequel can be somewhat confusing.

Great book, but it can be dangerous. I found myself in the same situations as the author… Losing interest in school, an accident that forced me to give up athletic pursuits for a time… I recommend it, but I always give people the disclaimer that they should watch out.
