NOT WORTH CONSUMING
I really wanted to like this book, but it ended up being a bit of fluff, and not even particularly entertaining at that.

This is Donna Leon’s first book. While the underlying mystery is intriguing, the reasons I love her books are her wonderful descriptions of Venice, and Guido Brunetti, her interesting, complex detective.
