A story about "The Man with the Rubber Head (Melies)" — 6 days ago

Interesting film, with quite an absurd and somewhat sadistic concept. Obviously a special effects piece, but it’s all the better for it – nice explosion at the end also. Melies is awesome – most of his films (including this one) can be found on Youtube.

Best movie of the summer — 6 days ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I thought District 9 to be the best movie of summer ‘09, even topping Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds. Very original, engrossing, and extremely intense sci-fi. It was also socially relevant, giving it some worth to you after you walk out of the theater. Was a great film to see during this past summer.

Why I recommend "The Departed (Widescreen Edition)" — 18 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This movie is awesome. One of Scorsese’s best, completely surpasses GoodFellas. All of the acting is top-notch, the story is brilliant but I suppose that credit should go to the original film Internal Affairs. I’m going to be bold and say that this is Jack Nicholson’s greatest ever performance – yes, over Chinatown, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Shining, etc. It may be a remake but Scorsese definitely deserved the director Oscar, and truthfully, it’s been a long time coming.

How "Superbad" changed my life — 28 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is one of my favorite movies ever!!! Its so hilarious. However, I don’t see it as pointless. Through all of the jokes and the plot to gain booze and sex (in that order), the movie shows that alcohol doesn’t improve your love life, it just makes things weird. A great teen comedy about friends, really rings true. Highly recommended, you’ll love it!

How "Auntie Anne's Pretzels" changed my life — 46 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

The first time I tasted an Auntie Anne’s pretzel, I knew I was tasting something heavenly. No more would I appreciate the generic-tasting pretzels sold at sporting events and fairs. The only pretzel for me would always be Auntie Anne’s. There is little doubt in my mind that if I had to have one food item before I died, I would have an Auntie Anne’s pretzel, and die experiencing absolute joy.

A story about "Annie Hall" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is my favorite movie of all time. Not to be overly judgmental but to the 11% that said that Annie Hall is not worth consuming – What is wrong with you??!

Why I recommend "A Corner in Wheat (1909 Short)" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is an important film in history because of the way D.W. Griffith portrays the great contrast between poor and rich for the first time. If you seriously love movies, you will want to check this out.

Not all bottled waters are created equal — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I have many friends who think it is stupid for me to consume at least one bottle of Aquafina everyday. I do not. This is the best water of all time, it is my all time favorite food/drink item, and I could not recommend it more highly. Try it and you may be pleasantly surprised.

Somewhat overrated but still really rocks — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I really like this album but I don’t think it is as flawless as many people make it out to be. It has a lot of great rock songs (Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child O’ Mine, Mr. Brownstone) but many of the album track sound very much alike – the same lead in to the solos, the same endings, the same themes, etc. etc. So after a while it tends to get a little old. Still enjoyable, just a little old. But it still rocks, Slash rocks, and Guns n Roses will probably always rock, but just take it as is – a very much above-average hair metal album with great guitar.

A review of "Turkey" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Oh my god I love Turkey! Especially Butterball turkey. Mmm…turkey. If you have not ever have turkey you must have turkey. But WARNING: turkey makes you feel very very sleepy, especially a lot of turkey.
