WORTH CONSUMING!

Haha! This movie had me laughing head to toe. I especially liked it when he climbed the stairs with the noodle cart. This is totally a movie worth watching!

National Treasure: Book of Secrets — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Sincerely, I really think that this was a good movie. Not everyone, though.

This movie will probably appeal to the people who watched the first movie and liked it a lot. Its really a drama movie about running all over the place.

The movie ends just like the last one: underground. And also, just like the last one, they are being chased by a maniac who wants credit for also finding the City of Gold.

One touching and angering part was that Ben didn’t even read Riley’s book! And nobody wanted to buy it. I am a very emotional person, so that really saddened me up. Strange, I know. Perhaps one day you will also meet a softie. If you are one, good for you. We both break down really easily!

Strangly Disappointing — 1 year ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

When I found this book in the library, I was so excited. The third book of the City of Ember series had come out!

Sadly, when I took it home to read, I found it very disappointing. I had expected the next book in the series; perhaps the characters had moved on?

Instead, I found a some-what prequel. After some immense thinking, I realized that the author wanted to write a different style, but because of the publicity of the City of Ember series, Jeanne wanted to capture some of those same readers, like me.

If you want a different style, this book is most certainly an excellent read. But for people who’d rather read different books by different authors for different styles (oh, my), then this might not be the best book for you.

How "The Kite Runner" changed my life — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

After I watched the Kite Runner, my life was changed, probably forever.

The fact that a movie can be made like this is simply so inspiring and touching.

At first, I was thinking, “What kind of movie is this anyways?” The reason was because of the text at the bottom when translated.

In the end, one of the most saddening parts was of the old man selling his leg to buy food. The most maddening part was when the rich boy put his watch under the poor boy’s pillow.

One part I don’t understand quite thoroughly is: Who in the world is the evil man that makes the boy tap dance and punches the grown rich boy in the end? I think it might be the mean teen bully that first had bullied them in the start of the movie.

This is a really heartbreaking caring movie. Its so good that I am inspired to… write this much :)

Do comment, I spent a lot of time thinking about this movie and this post.

Why I recommend "A Secret Life (Alias)" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I would recommend this book to the extreme. It begins very suspensively and attracts your attention! At the end, it made me not want to be a graphics designer and instead a CIA agent. Now I want to see the movie. You absolutely need to read this book.

A story about "A Series of Unfortunate Events, Books 1-10 (The Bad Beginning, The Reptile Room, The Wide Window, The Miserable Mill, The Austere Academy, The Ersatz Elevator, The Vile Village, The Hostile Hospital, The Carnivorous Carnival, and The Slippery Slope)" — 2 years ago

This is not really a book; it’s all ten of the Series of Unfortunate Events books, as listed in the title. But I have comsumed them all.
