A story about "Yorkshire Tea" — 2 years ago

Like tea used to be, so they say. When tea was grown in Yorkshire I guess, and we didn’t have to rely on these Chinese imports.
I consider Yorkshire to be the finest there is, as a discerning English tea drinker. As a tribute to my gran, who died recently, I shall keep drinking it to try to counter the inevitable massive profit losses that the company will suffer now she has passed on.
And foreigners, don’t even think about drinking it sans lait

A story about "conguitos" — 2 years ago

Well, what can I say…
FACT These chocolate-covered peanuts have been a family favourite in Spain for 40 years. Their name translates roughly as ‘Little Congo babies’. And most people in Spain can’t see anything strange or wrong about this. But
FACT They taste so damn good. And yes, this was discovered when we bought a packet for the sheer incredulous-tourist value.

Why I want to consume "Raspberries" — 2 years ago

Yum yum!

A story about "Creamy Peanut Butter" — 2 years ago

Jif is so good. In my country, ‘Jif’ is a kind of bathroom cleaner. This is much much more enjoyable to consume. Also, like most self-respecting Brits, I grew up thinking peanut butter was
a) disgusting, and
b) just too American to touch.
So glad to have now been filthied by American hands…
