Friends, tattoos, and spelling bees! How can you go wrong?
I liked it but I really think I need to read all three in this trilogy together.

Amazon’s been recommending this to me for ages, and I’m glad I finally read it. It feels very authentically “teenager” and reminds me a lot of “Feeling Sorry for Celia” (which is probably why Amazon kept recommending it!). I’m waiting impatiently for the sequel to come in this afternoon.
What a quirky little book! Wonderful illustrations.
My favorite sentence in this book is “But this was no ordinary scientific supercake.”
This book was good but not great. It was clever, though. Kids will like it.
This book turned out much better than I thought it would! It’s actually quite hilarious. Kids will love the rhythm of the text and the hysterical new dino-words. The ending is perfect and perfectly set up for a sequel, too.
