A story about "The Gratitude of Kings" — 6 years ago
This was a quick, light read. Very fun, very little commitment. :)

What a great book! It is very satisifying and makes me want to bake cakes. Fortunately there are some recipes in the back!
This book is kind of scary for my tastes… stop that laughing in the back!
This was a fun book. Kids who like plotting or aspire to be authors will especially enjoy it. PNLA’s Young Reader’s Choice Award 2004 Junior Division Nominee (4th – 6th grades).
I particularly liked the way the author portrayed the difference between how guys think and how girls think in the persons of Bryce and Juli. It was telling to hear the same story from each of their respective viewpoints, and not at all as boring as that sounds. Okay, I probably should have read this one before reading “Project Princess” but it just didn’t work out that way. This book was cute, with all the fun and funny princess incidents we’ve come to expect from this series, but not really anything unexpected. Mia spends the whole book being distressed by two things: does Michael REALLY like her? and does she have any talent whatsoever? And while it’s good to think about these kind of things from time to time, readers with any powers of observation already know the answers to both questions.
I don’t care how old you are… you should look at this book just for the pictures. They are soft and sweet.
This book looks to have a bunch of practical advice. I’m looking forward to delving into it more deeply.
...I took this back to the library.
Interesting book that explores the monastic tradition both for monks and as it can benefit the rest of us.
Another great book by Dia Calhoun. I’m going to have to put the next one on hold immediately.
