WORTH CONSUMING!

Worth it for Kristin Scott Thomas, who is lovely, and the creeptastic performance of Alec Guinness. Gets kind of slow and laggy during the second hour, but picks up at the end in a flurry of ‘where the hell is this going?’ I approve. Also, great performances by Anjelica Huston and James Wilby and Pip Torrens.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Every song on this album is a winner. My personal favorites are Don’t Lock Me Out, All Is Forgotten, and If What You Mean Is Harm.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Gorgeous, risky film. But only risky because certain people will only see the surface and not the actually think about it, or see beyond the facade.

Compelling story that emphasizes the strength of our connections with people. So lovely.

Brilliant acting, wonderful editing, and a beyond fantastic soundtrack. Definitely worth seeing/consuming.

Definitely worth seeing. — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Adorable and well-acted with a great script. The only negative thing is slightly choppy editing. But I would absolutely watch this again. I had much fun.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

The film is shot wonderfully, scored magnificently.

But the film as a whole is massively offensive to those who practice wicca or who are pagans. As someone who was trying out those beliefs and practices not too long ago, and still identifies with much of them, the reveal of the evil was just wholly offensive.

I love Dario Argento. I love how this movie was made. I just do not like the reveal. So if you don’t mind the reveal and its offensiveness, then you probably will like this movie.

Not worth it for Billy Bob Thornton and the chicks. Worth it for Hal Sparks.
