A good movie... — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I don’t have any complaints… I genuinely thought this was a good movie, and it ranks up there with some of my very favorites now.

Basically, Brendan Fraser’s character befriends a bum whom he finds in the library basement one afternoon. In the simplest explanation, this is the purpose of the movie.

Anyhow, I’m not a big Brendan Fraser, but he was good in this movie. Definitely watch it!

From a Sandler fanatic... — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Ok, so I must preface my “review” by claiming that I am an Adam Sandler fanatic. I typically love his movies, even if his humor is so cheesy at times that it makes people wanna vomit.

Click was good… it ranks right up there with the rest of Sandler’s average movies. It’s not nearly as funny as many of his others, and, as far as I’m concerned, not nearly as good as movies such as Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, or 50 First Dates.

I won’t get into the storyline because the previous review of this movie did a decent job.

P.S. The little girl who played Sandler’s daughter was a cutie! Haha. She’s gonna be a knockout when she gets older.

Eh, okay... — 2 years ago

I’m not sure what made me watch the movie… I typically like the black-urban movies that center on the gangsta-street lifestyle.

This was okay, but there was no sign of stellar acting in sight. I compare this movie a lot to Eminem’s movie, 8 Mile. Both were okay.

Pretty good — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Bottom Line: Johnny Depp was amazing in this flick. I can’t wait to see the 2nd one now.

A basketball ripoff of "Remember the Titans..." — 3 years ago

This was pretty much your typical “pick-me-up”, feelgood movie about a team overcoming a racial barrier. The movie itself was ok, however, I would much rather watch Remember the Titans. It carries a similar plotline and is much better.

Great movie... — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This movie is so powerful… It evokes so much emotion. The storyline is great.

Ludacris even pulled off a decent character… Now, you know it’s a good movie when even a rapper does a decent job acting in it.

decent — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I don’t care for Tom Cruise movies one bit, but this was good. Sorta like riding a roller coaster. There were bits of action and then low dips of more dramatic parts.

I don’t think there was anything special about the movie, but it was decent.

A story about "Forrest Gump (Two-Disc Special Collector's Edition)" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Of course, as everyone else, I saw this movie when it first came out… but then I watched it again yesterday and caught so many things I didn’t get when I first watched it.

It’s actually so much funnier now!

Makes a grown man cry... — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I admit it. I’m a man, and I like movies that can get me all teary-eyed. This was definitely one of those movies.

I fell in love with Mandy Moore’s character.

I really liked her insight when she says, “Maybe God has bigger plans for me than I have for myself.”

Some thoughts... — 3 years ago

I’ve never read the book; however, this movie made me want to read it. I am sure the book will be better than the movie.

Anyhow, I was quite disturbed by Ricci’s character; however, I guess that was the point of the movie.

I wanted to see more of the interactions between Ricci and her counselor. I was always intrigued by those sessions.
