I borrowed this from the library specifically for the baby sweater patterns, but there is a little sundress in there that is the cutest thing I have ever seen!

How in the heck can these people expect some of these things to be done in one weekend? This book has some great additional content like recipes, a list of movies where characters are knitting, hand massage how to’s and more.

This book absolutely without a doubt changed my life.

I reread it once every year to year and half.

This was a terrible book! I didn’t care for the writing style, I hated how it ended and the story drove me crazy. One of the rare cases in life where the movie is better than the book!

I wasn’t impressed. By the end of the book I was sick of everyone’s dysfunction. Anyone can write about dysfunction. The true challenge would have been to write about a normal family going into the Congo as missionaries and their experiences instead of 500 pages of dysfunction. I will give the author credit for making more interested in African history. And for making me aware that in America, even our poverty is abundant.

I have to take this one in itty bitty bites. I have actually heard all of this stuff before. But always interested to learn more living where I live!

I requested this book from the library to read about helping children through grief. I can’t put it down.
