I believe the name of this book is Dreamland: Nerve Center… This book is part of Dale Browns Dreamland series. I have read several in the series and am now reading this one.

A friend of mine got me hooked on this fine sipping rum from the Caribbean Islands. This rum is a blend of aged rums, some as old as 40 years. After they blend it for over a year in an Oak cask, the rich flavors mingle together. Once you taste this you can’t put it down. While I was in Anguilla , I had the opportunity to stop at the distillery that they blend this rum at.
