This wasn’t as good as I had hoped. I loved some of the stories (Six to Eight Black Men is hilarious, and I love Baby Einstein), but I found myself unmoved by others. A mixed collection, I felt, but worth browsing through.

This was talked up to me as so hilariously funny that I don’t think it could have ever measured up upon my reading it. I did find it funny. Parts of it were charming and very enjoyable. But my overall impression of the book was that it was like taking a journey around England with a travel companion whose company I didn’t particularly enjoy.
