A story about "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice for All (US)" — 2 years ago

This is my husband’s game, and I’m not even sure if I put the right Phoenix Wright game up there.

I briefly played it and was utterly bored. It felt like a multimedia slide show where all you did was just kept pressing “next.”

And what terrible localization!!!

One of the best games for DS. — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This was the first DS game I got (besides the launch title) and I absolutely love it. I STILL play it! There’s hundreds of minigames, and you can keep trying to beat your own record and get all the minigame rewards. Replay value is super high!! This game will definitely cure your boredom and also keep you company when the insomnia gets to be too much. Damn it… I was projecting again.

Quirky, but forgettable. — 2 years ago

I’m glad I got a pair of cute blue headphones with this game, or else it would have been a complete waste.

This game is basically just to showcase different capabilities of the DS. It’s quirky and fun for a little while, but I haven’t picked it up for over a year to play it again.

This is so f'ing fun. — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I played the crap out of this game. The JP cover is pictured because I couldn’t find the US cover, but I played the US version. This was my first non computer Sims game, and I was expecting a watered down version of the computer Sims 2 game. However, this game is completely different! It takes place in a desert town, and you’re the hotel manager (I think, it’s been a while.) But you do various things for your guests, and there are lots of little minigame type things that you can do!!

I had a lot of fun playing it, but I didn’t beat it because for some reason when I get close to the end of a game, I can’t bring myself to beat it. I think it’s some sort of psychological problem.

Stuck <_< — 2 years ago

As with most Mario games, I got stuck towards the end and I couldn’t figure out what to do, and then I just got distracted by something and never finished it.

My husband played it all the way through and really liked it!

I really like all the Mario and Luigi RPG type games.

I love catching bugs! — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I love Animal Crossing!!!

My only complaint is that if you miss a few days, it’s really hard to get back into playing it because of the weird feeling of guilt you have about your village. O_o I’ve confirmed this with a few other people…. so weird.

A story about "Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja (US)" — 2 years ago

I bought this as a gift for my husband, so I haven’t played it yet because there is only one save slot.

However, he loves it!! I’ll write a review when it’s my turn to play it.

Except for impossible surgeries at the end, awesome! — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I absolutely love this game. My favorite part is removing shards of glass from people’s bodies, and I have no idea why. It’s strangely satisfying.

I wish the game would have stuck with more realistic or normal medical/emergency room situations, instead of introducing the new virus crap at the end, resulting in nearly impossible surgeries. I didn’t beat the game because I got stuck on one of them. ;_;

Fun and unique. — 2 years ago

I like this game because it’s just so freaking unique and weird. However, my one complaint is that sometimes peeling and breading is IMPOSSIBLE!!! I’m not sure why, but no matter what I do or how I do it, I can never get those as fast as I could.

I’m eager to try out the Wii version, though.

My niece has this game and loves it.

Doesn't work as well as I'd hoped for DS. — 2 years ago

I bought this game as a present for my husband, and he really loves it. It’s really unique and combines puzzle elements (like Bejeweled) and RPG elements.

However, the harsh, bright colors of the spheres on the game board hurt my eyes, so I can’t ever play for that long. I wish they would have made the colors a bit more muted so they weren’t so hard on the eyes. Also, a smaller game board would have been nice. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve accidentally picked the wrong sphere and f’ed up my game because of the tiny stylus pointing at the wrong tiny sphere.

But if your eyes aren’t bothered easily, go ahead and pick it up.
