WORTH CONSUMING!

This album isn’t actually due out until August 19th, but you can buy a digital download now at Amie Street for $5, which goes to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

If you love The Walkmen you’ll love this album.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I picked up the $5 download simply because I love the idea of an artist distributing their music this way. I, honestly, have never really listened to NIN at all because I thought they were a bit overrated.

However, I do love this music. It’s great music to code with.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Maybe I’m just in a bad mood today. I do know I’m not in the mood today for electro indie bands that make me think I’m living in the 80’s again. I hate the 80’s.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This was truly one of the most enjoyable movies I’ve seen in quite some time. A great story about a guy lost in his own head (we’ve all been there I’m sure) and the odd space a breakup can put you into.

The narration makes the movie.

Why I gave up consuming "Fay Grim (Ws Sub Col Dol)" — 1 year ago

I made it through only about 15 minutes of this before I had to turn it off. Maybe Hal Hartley movies just aren’t for me? Or maybe it is the fact that I can’t stand Parker Posey?

A story about "Fair Game: My Life as a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House" — 1 year ago

You can tell that Valerie Plame has spent her life writing reports for the CIA and not stories that the average person would consume. I found it pretty dry, but I guess you can’t expect a whole lot giving the subject matter. Didn’t help either that a sizable chunk of the book was blanked out.

Overall though I thought it was fairly interesting and a good take on her side of the story.
