A story about "Havana"

Havana

by Sydney Pollack

Any Robert Redford movie is a pleasure. Havana is especially so. As the suave gambling Jack Weil, Robert Redford does full justice to his character. Set in 1958 Cuba, the movie epitomises all that was free and colourful in that period. Lena Olin as Bobby Duran is a pleasure to watch – in all respects. While the movie may seem to progress slowly, the editing is slick and keeps you holding on. A must watch.

I have seen the film a few times. Watch it for Redford, Gandolfini, the story, the presentation, what the hell…watch it for everything about the film.
