basically I liked it.. — 7 years ago

but I saw the Infinifilm™ version of it. I like extras on DVD’s. “making of” features, commentary, etc. But in the Infinifilm™ version you cant just watch the extras. You have to turn Infinifilm™ on and then wait for a screen to pop up while you’re watching the film. I hated that. It’s gimmicky and lame.

very good, quite believable.. — 7 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Joaquin Pheonix is very believable as Johnny Cash and Reese Witherspoon is very good as June Carter. I knew a little of the history of Cash, I knew that he spent some time as a prescription drug addict, but I didn’t know the extent of his problem.

I liked how it portrayed the relationship with his father. Robert Patrick’s performance as his father was very very good.

I really loved this movie. In my opinion this is a must see movie. Not just for Johnny Cash fans, but for people who are fans of good movie making.

fun to watch a second time too. It’s a different movie after you’ve seen it once.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Not your typical Stephen King. The book was published by Hard Case Crime, which specializes in “hard boiled” detective novels. There isn’t anything hard boiled about this book, but it’s quite an excellent read.

I used to have quite a few cookbooks, but I gave almost all of them to the library. This one here really does have everything in it.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I read this first in grade school. I reread it every year or two. It still sucks me in.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I could watch this movie 100 times and not get tired of it. I think watching this makes you aware of the limitations and faults in your own memory.

A story about "Programming in Objective-C" — 7 years ago

Been meaning to take up programming ages ago. I used to program in BASIC 25 years ago so this isn’t totally alien.
